An attorney at Jones Vargas for more than 25 years, Mr. Jost's practice includes municipal finance, planning and zoning, tax and securities. He specializes in tax exempt project and real estate based financings, particularly in the areas of affordable housing and redevelopment. Mr. Jost has represented issuers of tax exempt bonds, investment bankers who have structured tax exempt bond transactions, and most often developers, public utilities and manufacturers that have benefited from tax exempt financing.

Mr. Jost participated in the development and implementation of Nevada's master planned community special assessment district law and is the author of the National Business Institute's "Advanced Real Estate Law in Nevada."

A member of the initial board of directors that formed the State of Nevada chartered medical liability insurance company, Mr. Jost continues to serve as a director and the corporate treasurer of that very successful organization.

Mr. Jost holds a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and New York and is a member of the Clark County and American Bar Associations.
